In the conversation with Bozidar Jurjevic about the exhibition in the Studio Let / 777 we agreed that I will realize a work in the public space of Dubrovnik.
I remember the moment when I first saw images of Dubrovnik under the siege where sculptures, monuments and churches were protected with wooden boards. The first reaction in my family was the comment and conclusion that the stone saints have been protected while the man is being hurt.
A point of reference is the photo by Pavo Urban representing the column of Orlando protected by wooden boards. Those photographs were the last that Pavo Urban took before he was hit by a bombshell. He became the paradigm of such a thought.
On this occasion the man was protected by wooden boards.
